Slashers… this is it. Don’t get scared.

Only a handful of hours left to push towards our LAST stretch goal. Join in on the fun, up those pledges if you've been waiting, or tell your friends to dive in and let’s close this thing out with a bang!

This campaign has been amazing and we can’t thank you all enough for your support. It is awesome to see this game and fan base grow so much with every new campaign.

When you read this we will have just unlocked our 5th Stretch Goal (Component Upgrades) and we our now headed into the final day of the campaign with one stretch goal left to go!

The Final 48 Hours

Hey Slashers,

With the final 48 hours ahead of us, we thought we'd do an update with some of the artwork on display from the game. This stuff tends to get overlooked in the campaigns story section, as there is so much info and graphics in there, so we thought we'd compile it all into one email.

We're getting close to the next stretch goal, so with some last minute backers jumping on, we should be able to clear that in the next day or so.

We're nearing the end, and slowly approaching the next stretch goal...

Speaking of the end being nigh...

THE INVADERS CARD

Like in the original Mixtape, sometimes there are cards in the Killer Scene's deck with "extra" effects. Draw The Invaders card, and you run the chance of losing some of your friends and destroying the towns power grid in the process.

Be careful out there slashers!

ADJUSTING YOUR PLEDGE

We're still receiving questions about adjusting pledges to add the expansion, or all the swag, so please, read this update and it should answer all your questions. 

And that should do it for this update. Thought it'd be fun to pop in with a quick art reveal. We'll have more of these post-Kickstarter as the art process comes to a close and manufacturing begins. So keep a look out.

Last 2 Stretch Goals

Hey Slashers,

Following our previous BIG update, we thought we'd breakdown the two final stretch goals we just revealed, since we've had a few questions about them:

COMPONENT UPGRADES

The next stretch goal, at the $60,000 mark (we're almost there) would allow us to upgrade some of the components in the game. We always hear from you all how much you love the quality of the game, and we love hearing it and want to keep improving. It's something we also owe a lot to our manufacturers. In working with them we talked about nicer finishes on some of the components.

We decided upon upgrading the dice to being translucent (the blue action dice) as well as doing Spot UV printing on the punchboards. As previous backers of the Black Masque Expansion know, this adds a really nice finish to the product, that not only makes the product feel real nice, but also makes it shine.

We're pumped to be offering this with the new game and if things keep progressing like they currently are, we should be unlocking that one soon enough.

ADD SLASHER TO GAME

With this stretch goal being the last one, we wanted it to be something all backers could be a part of. With the original Mixtape Massacre game, the Black Masque expansion, and our recent Booster Packs, long time fans know we have a large gallery of slashers to choose from.

SO, we're going to leave it up to everyone who backs the project to vote on who gets added to Escape From Tall Oaks.

That character will get the same treatment as our current three slashers (made to look like they've gone through hell) as well as come with a Slasher Profile Card with their attributes. You'll be able to swap them in as one of the three slashers coming after you during play, or use the character piece when playing the previous games or cross-play.
